12/20/14 Just a few short days until Christmas! Hard to believe. The weather is going to be unsettled and changeable as we push into the next 2 weeks. There is quite a bit to monitor with a few storm systems that will bring precipitation to our region. First shot of precip arrives on Monday into Tuesday. Turning sharply colder by Tuesday night and Wednesday. Windy, as well. Rain may change to snow on Tuesday night with snow showers on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Some questions on the track of the area of low pressure for Tuesday night. We may actually see quite a bit of precipitation on Tuesday night. With falling temperatures we will need to monitor precipitation type. The track of the area of low pressure on Tuesday and Tuesday night will be key to what happens in our local area. If it tracks too far west then that means rain. If it tracks to our east then that could mean some snow. Where will it track? That is the question. Lots and lots to read about in todays blog.
