12:30 Update: Tobey is starting to have some sporadic twitches or small gasps for air. We are wondering if it is neuro/shunt related or just that he is so on edge, thinking something is going to happen, that his body keeps jumping during his sleep, and wakes him up, or if it is a sleep apnea issue. It has happened six times today, and when it does, his RR drops and then slowly comes back up. We have turned off all lights and trying to keep quiet to let him sleep. The nurse is going to let the anesthesiologist know, and see if she wants to pull in a pulmonary consult. Josh and I are tag team napping. :)
