12 mile out-and-back up the Eagle Creek Trail in the Columbia River Gorge. Pretty technical, plus an 800-foot climb (still only about 1,000 ft above sea level). Nice fall colors popping, super-friendly fellow runners and hikers, and the scenery is to die for. The waterfall behind me is Tunnel Falls; the trail actually goes through a tunnel behind the falls! Beautiful. This run gave me bad ideas about attempting to run the whole trail (15 miles one way), but my stamina isnt quite ready for that.
