$12 to go!!!! It continues to amaze me how compassionate our town and our friends are. We just finished distributing around 200 Thanksgiving baskets, we have our Special Santa program and Christmas /holiday meal basket program going in full swing and people continue to give. When I hear of children who would miss meals at home if it wasnt for our backpack program I know that our organization makes a difference. When I see people who come to us, embarrassed to have to ask for help when just a few short months ago they were the ones donating, I know that we make a difference because now they are able to return home with enough food for at least 7 days. They are able to do so knowing that we understand and that we care and that we will never make them feel ashamed. When I tell the elderly people who come to us that they dont have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their pets, and see their face, I know that we make a difference. When a child or mother come to ICC with donations in hand to tell us how much we meant to them a couple of years ago when they were struggling and didnt think their children would have any Christmas, I know we make a difference. I know that we make a difference because of all of you; thank you so much. On behalf of all of us at the ICC, we are truly grateful for all that you do to help us help others.
