12 years ago I ran 3 stop lights and was speeding from Garden Village town homes. I was weaving through traffic hoping that the police wouldnt catch me to pull me over. Kendra Roberts went into labor. We pulled up to Franklin Square Hospital. The nurses were already waiting for us. They had a wheelchair and a nurse waiting outside as we pulled up. They rushed Kendra to the delivery room. I followed behind them nervous. They put her on the delivery table. I sat in a chair at the end of the table. As soon as I sat down her water broke (SPLASH ). Kori was coming. She was determined to enter the world. There was no time for an epidural. Ish just got real. Standing by Kendra s side I was going to be her support. As I am looking up at the ceiling I realized that Kendra had me in a headlock. With all the screaming she was doing and the death grip that she had around my head I new I wasnt going to make it, but luckily for me Kori came out in 3 pushes. Kendra released the anaconda death grip from around my neck. As Im gasping for air, Im staring at my beautiful daughter. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY 2ND PRINCESS
