12 years ago I was lonely and afraid, single with two kids, I spent a second date with a guy talking to his friend. Little did I know that this sweet guy would win my heart over the next year for he was lonely, afraid, and a single parent too. A year later we took the plunge into attempting to blend our two families. After one year we decided we were committed to the long haul and 9 years ago today we said I Do for life, if you ever talk to either of us we both would say this has been NO easy road. We have had our good times, our bad times and absolute nightmare situations. But I think I speak for us both when I say that neither of us would rather have had it any other way!! Never get up hope for God has a plan and everything in your life happens for a reason. God never promised you the easy road but he did promise you that he would lead, guide and direct you in the way he sees fit. Thank you God for leading me in the right direction for I am grateful!!
