12 years ago, on a Sunday morning, my water broke after I stood up from eating a bowl of cereal. I then had a beautiful 8lb 2ozs 21inches long healthy blue eyed mixed baby boy that we named Tristan, at 8:45 pm on a Sunday night. This baby boy changed my life from the time he was growing inside of me to the time he arrived. Because of him my mother and I grew a stronger bond. But little did I know I was being prepared to say goodbye. She was taken two months after Tristans arrival, RIP momma. So much took place and changed, for the worse, for me. I still had my beautiful son and did what I could while I was in the process of getting worse in my addiction, that I started the day my mom died. Long story short, if I was not blessed with this amazing soul/baby then I dont think I would have held on like I did. Ive let him down to turning it all around. Weve lost so much but weve gained so much as well. My son is not a normal kid. Hes unique and different, to me. Hes someone I thought I didnt deserve but know, today, I do. Hes helped make me who I am and hes my earthly angle in disguise. Through all the tragedy I had this beautiful blued eyed boy to press in for. To learn to love who I was and to come to know Jesus Christ and the meaning of what life is truly about. This boy was sent here to touch my life in a way I will never be able to fully explain. Now in one more month he and I will be meeting another angel in disguise that we get to call baby brother and moms youngest son. These boys mean the world to me and already have wonderful testomonies to help others. I cant imagine my life any different nor do I regret anything thats happened to be where we are at today. Its making us who we are and its teaching us about love and not hate. I cant believe how fast this precious baby grew up to be one handsome 12 year old. Happy Birthday Tristan McKynzie!
