12 years ago today I became a mother for the first time. I counted 10 little fingers and 10 little toes, I soaked in every feature on her face, the little face I often wondered about when I carried her. I never got to feel them little fingers wrap around mine, I never got to tickle them perfect little toes and i never got to see my beautiful daughter smile. For I wasnt saying hello to my Elley-May ...I was saying goodbye. So for all you mammys and daddys out there be thankful for what you got...even when your darling little kids are driving you up the wall...to have a child is a gift and never forget it.
