#129 Reply to comment of Mr.Magesh Nagu in #126 Some Good proposals rejected by Administration 1) Bringing Eminent personalities like CNR RAO , Sam Pitroda, Chetan bhagat etc, to our campus on KRIYA. Management rejected this because they said they cant spent on Business class airway ticket and accommodation charges for such eminent personalities. If such proposals were denied we cant even imagine to get UNESCO Patronage anymore. 2) Proposal for Inter-college culturals on KRIYA was rejected because someone from outside college harassed girls from our college. (Will you allow this if it was your sister or gf). Please give some suggestions to avoid this as well as to give some entertainment. 3) Management does not allow even to stick a paper notice on walls around the college. 4) Management didnt allowed even to keep a Schedule Flux for KRIYA. 5) Those who ask for a day off during KRIYA can anyone promise that at least 20% of your class will come for attending KRIYA if there is a 3 days continuous holiday, Everyone will leave home. Moreover for everyone whos participating in KRIYA they will be given exemption from attendance. 6) More over KRIYA is not meant for entertainment but to showcase the technical edge of our students, even then participation from our college is very low. The quality of the event depends on association and clubs which organize the events. When interview was conducted for selection of office bearers there was merely 1-2 contestant for each post in some cases no contestant. This shows the interest of students. 7) There is no politics regarding departments, the one who has got the talent will get selected automatically. 8) To #118, If you have been treated so badly you have every right to mention this to the Student affairs dean any time, If it was proved necessary action will be taken. No One in SU has the right to order anyone to do anything. 9) Management will never support any act that will remove staffs influence over any decision. 10) Reply to #118 our management never allowed to raise the prize money nor the budget for KRIYA, all events are conducted with limited resources not for name sake. Other colleges are outsourcing their website management with professionals but we management dont even give money for outsourcing they want everything for FREE! 11) Sponsorship money was bought from some xxx company but management asked to return that money just because they were from PSG Family, all the effort going to vain. 12) Please everyone give your comments directly regarding KRIYA so that we can try to improve it next time if the management permits, because Its our college.
