THE GREAT DESTROYER: I know this isnt the original from Year Zero but instead the remix from Y3AR Z3R0R3M1X3D, but anyone that compares the 2 knows this version is 100 times better than the original. The one on Year Zero is OK, but this one if it was on the actual record would without a doubt be my favorite song. This song is about how I am gonna destroy the rock and roll hall of fame for not.......OK no its not, but we are coming to the end of the album, and apparently in the Year Zero story, the end of the world, because its been decided at this point by the beings that warned us to change our ways or they will wipe this place clean that the only way to save the planet is to get rid of us. Smart beings. This is the final perspective song from someone in the Year Zero world, and it comes from someone who is planning to do something big and revolutionary, and with the absence of privacy hopes that he is not found out before his big statement. Well we can tie that in immediately with the guy in Sydney, Australia and anyone else who thinks they are gonna make some big statement by blowing something up, even though in all reality all they are doing is killing innocent people. There are lots of Great Destroyers all over the place these days.
