13 random facts about me: 1) Before age 7, I wanted to grow up to be a scientist who studied penguins in Antarctica 2) Although I havent fired it in 30 years I miss shooting my muzzle loader 3) My worst Christmas ever, at age 13, was due to peeking at all of my presents well before the morning I opened them 4) Speaking of Christmas, I desperately wanted to believe in Santa but my mother didnt want to lie to me 5) There were years as a child when I could count on one hand the number of days I went without a spanking 6) I went to 4 different elementary schools, 2 junior highs, and 2 high schools 7) I want to get a private pilots license 8) I never wanted children but cant imagine healing from my own childhood without them. My sons make me a better human 9) I like movies that can make me cry 10) In 1992, I took the oath of office as an ROTC cadet. Even though that situation didnt work out, the words I spoke still define me 11) I didnt come out to my mother as an atheist until my 30s. She was shocked and I was surprised she never knew. (Been this way since age 9) 12) I have an IQ in the top 2% but barely graduated high school and college 13) I understand the answer to the philosophical question about whether or not a tree falling in the forest makes a sound
