13 years ago I was a 5th grader in Mrs. Hegars classroom at Vickers elementary when she came in and said that the twin towers were hit by planes. The school sent us all home and I remember being at home with that big ass heavy tv on the news and seeing the damage. I watched as tower 1 fell and tower 2. My dad was in New Jersey working, 10 miles away and could see the smoke and the towers on fire. My mom was scared out of her mind knowing how close he was. RIP to the 9/11 victims, towers, pentagon and flight 93 that crashed in a field, and to those still dying from their bravery of volunteering to dig out the dead. #NeverForget
