@14.3: A few starting thoughts: I think of this as a “2K row”, i.e. move at heart rate of a 2K row. Slow down or speed up on box jumps to keep that same feel . Shorten or lengthen sets of deadlifts to keep the feel/burn of a 2K row. Weight change time will become critical factor in this WOD, know the weights, ask judge to repeat weight numbers during the wod, set it up in logical order. My plan: Change one weight right after DL, Change the other side right before DL. Is 10 seconds to change on side viable? TBD The scores in this WOD will be relatively close. This may be the fewest reps we’ll ever be behind Froning’s/Briggs’s scores. Every rep will count more so than before. Keep moving, avoid long rests. No major magic in the rep scheme here. DL sets, drop the bar + 3 second rest. Don’t go to (grip) failure on heavier weights, there is no time to recover from too much fatigue.
