14 Days of Prayer with Fasting Day Ten: 16th July 2014 Pray for Uganda: Read Haggai 11:5-6 1. Pray against unemployment, debts, bankruptcy, severe lack, mechanical malformation, laziness, financial failures, backwardness, ignorance lack of/or inadequate and expensive medical and education system that does not take of the rural poor. 2. Pray for a positive, constructive and beneficial change in the health and education sector. 3. Pray for the government to attract, recruit and retain competent, honest and trustworthy health workers, teachers and agriculturalists, and that government will pay them very well. 4. Pray for wisdom and integrity in our leaders and as we begin to process oil and other minerals and natural resources in our land. 5. Pray for the rains to come in due season so that farmers can plant and harvest in the right time and quantities. 6. Ask the Lord to bring true and genuine investors in our country, who will help develop our skills, mechanize/modernize our agriculture and at the same time impart knowledge to us. 7. Pray against high rates of sicknesses and death from curable and preventable diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis, diarrhea diseases (such as typhoid, cholera etc), pneumonia, malnutrition. Romans 10:13.
