14-YEAR-OLD GIRL SHOT, TEEN SUSPECT AT LARGE: Today around 10:00 a.m., patrol officers were dispatched to 491 S. Lane Ave on the report of a shooting. Responding officers located the victim, Destinee Booker, age 14, laying on the front porch of the residence. She was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Booker was transported to The hospital where she underwent emergency surgery. She is listed in very critical condition. The suspect has been identified by witnesses & is still at large. At this time the suspect’s name and photo is not being released because he is a juvenile and official charges have yet to be filed with the Court of Domestic Relations.
