#14383 I think I might be lesbian. Occasionally I do feel an attraction to males, but I find females more attractive overall. My attraction ratio of each gender is definitely not a 50-50 split. If I were to put numbers on it, I would say Im 75-80% of the time attracted to females and 20-25% to males. I feel like I have a deeper emotional connection with females, and they are so intellectual, which is a huge turn on for me. I have always felt that in life I will end up being married to a man. Thats not to say I wouldnt be happy with the right guy. Im sure I could be. But Ive never met a guy who can fully understand me emotionally and get who I am at a deep level. Sometimes my girlfriends ask me what my ideal guy would be like, and I honestly cant answer because I have never met anyone who fits my characteristics. But maybe Im looking at it with a hyper critical eye. Is it possible to know youre lesbian without a lot of experimentation? Ive only kissed 2 girls in my life but I dont really want to find girls on tinder or at bars for the sake of experimenting. I would rather things be genuine. I wish I could find a girl who was able to help me sort through this in secret, but its not really fair to expect that of someone. I just dont want to tell my friends and family that Im gay without knowing for sure, especially if it could affect my future. I know it shouldnt be a determiner of my happiness, but my future career does have an impact. I dont want to sound like I care so much about what others think of me, but its a bigger deal to me than Id like to admit. Its hard to know if I would be willing to sacrifice others view of me for possible increased happiness. Im still young. Maybe I should just chill and take life as it comes without thinking so much. Do other people think about this as much as I do?
