14th September, 2011, the Martyrs Day was a hectic day for me. I took privilege to get educated at both Jammu Press Club from 10AM to 12:45 PM organized byDr. Ajay Ji Chrangoo(PK) subsequently joined by Ashwani Ji Changoo (PK) along with his Crew and at Jagti Camp from 3PM to 8:30 PM organized by the volunteers of PK(Dr. Agn.). Strangely at both the places my leaders surmised and took me out of the skirmish within. I wonder how they read my mind and how nicely they convinced me that all those who were killed by our tormentors died for a cause more dearly to them than their life. They were all patriots. They were killed because they followed Hindu faith. They were killed because they were more Indians than anybody else in India. They were killed because they believed in secularism. They were killed because they had faith in the Indian Constitution. They were killed because they did not believe in violence. Those who replaced Lassa Koul were not killed because they were not of Hindu faith. I was convinced that we owe and our martyrs are watching us paying homage to them on Balidan Divas. In the funeral procession of Pundit Tika Lal Tapiloo, one of the slogans was: “Tika Lal Tapiloo Amar hai” and today I feel all these martyrs are amar as homage is being paid to them globally on this day. At both the places, the number of participants was more than our leaders had expected. I was reminded of 1990 gathering. The three Aces are real asset to the community. They need not to fight for election. They are the real leaders who attract masses. To get elected is not the real test of a leader. Even Phoolan Devi had won elections and become Member Parliament. It was my second session at Jagti. The program started at 3 PM and was reluctantly closed at 8:30 PM for want of light. Jagti Camp dwellers who were once masters of orchards and saffron fields at their home dwell in gas chambers with 16 hour power cut as rightly said by Dr. Agnishekhar, Convener Panun Kashmir. By the time Dr. Agnishekhar held the mike, the park was jam packed and his admirers and followers of his conviction stood on the other side of the fence. The excited audience put on their mobile-phone lights to get glimpses of their leader in absence of electric light. The most emotional event was when one senior citizen in the audience requested the compere to lend him an opportunity for Dustar Bandi of his reverent hero, Dr. Agnishekhar. Soon all in the audience in and outside the park gave a thundering applause. Slogans: “Dr. Agnishekhar zindabad, Kashmira Vahini zindabad; Panun Kashmir zindabad; our demand Panun Kashmir reverberated. My hair got bristled and I could not help my emotions. The headgear added to the personality of my hero. Swami Kumar Ji among others graced the occasion with references from Gita and held special prayers in favour of our martyrs. Before I conclude, I as a teacher give 100 out of 100 marks to Dr Agnishekhar and the other competitors are behind by a slender .0009 percent. Neck to neck competition between the three competitors is in the best interest of the community. Final results will be announced in Kashmir at my Home-Land anytime in near future. Jai Hind-Jai Panun Kashmir-Jai Kashmira Vahini-Jai the three Aces. Bríjû dàss chhú vanàn låsív tû båsív.
