Herbal tea (Morning) • Coriander leaves • Thyme • Garlic • Fresh turmeric Bring water to a boil in 1L of water for 15 minutes. Herbal tea (Evening) • Ginger • Thyme • Mint leaves Bring all to a boil in 2 cups of water for 10 minutes. Fruits: Pear (poire) Perfume: Rose (Use incense sticks, candles or boil to spread the perfume in the house) Sound of the day: Auum Laa Auuuum Laa Ouuu Auum Taste of the day- (The taste of the day has a soothing effect on both the digestive system and the mind) Today’s taste is: Add the juice of 1 lemon in 1 glass of warm water. Recipe: • Rice and butter bean (gros pois) Cook 2 cups rice. In a pressure cooker, add 1½ cup butter beans (gros pois), chouchou, potato, green beans (haricot vert), chili (piment cari), spinach (epinard), 1 tablespoon hing (or 1 tablespoon ginger/garlic paste) and 1 tablespoon turmeric powder (safran en poudre). Add enough water and cook till beans are soft. Add the cooked rice, salt and 1 tablespoon butter. Cook for another 6-8 minutes. • Etoufé de brède • Soya chunks and brinjal cooked in tomato (Rougaille) • Coconut and mint chutney.
