15 years ago the album that changed my whole perspective of music was released. I remember being 15 or 16 when a guitar teacher at church played me fatal tragedy and this got me researching DT. Once i heard this and the subsequent live album(Live Scenes from New York) i understood music was no longer a hobby for me but an integral part of my life. From beautiful ballads like Through her Eyes or the majestic The Spirit Carries On to the beautifully composed technical pieces like Fatal Tragedy,Finally Free to the epic instrumental Dance of Eternity. I dontor care for the haters but anybody who i a musician or appreciates real music should listen to this masterpiece at least once. Did i mention the concept behind the whole album and the way the tracks intertwine are amazing.
