16 years ago I was hosting a post baptism lunch in our home for my son, Dante. Our friend arrived with a very pretty woman. She introduced herself and I asked what she did and she said, modestly, Oh, Im in sales. Flash forward nearly four years- I had three children, no family in the east, and I got this crazy idea it would be a GREAT time to audition at QVC! LOL. Shortly after being hired I went by the buyers desk to begin looking at the clothing collection. Seated behind the desk was this same pretty woman...Lisa Robertson :) My very first time on air was an hour show with Lisa. I was a nervous wreck! She was supportive and funny and kind. She has continued to be just that over more than a decade. Regardless of what she touches it will surely turn to gold. Utmost I wish her peace and happiness, Oh, and a hammer to break that alarm clock!
