16 years ago today I was laying in a hospital bed awaiting the arrival of my one and only boychild, John Jurnak. My labor was induced early that morning of August 10, 1998 and I walked the halls of that snuggery, praying that he would just hurry up and get out of there. I had all of my supporters there with me. My Grandmother, Esther Farrar, may she Rest in Peace, my mother in law, Bonnie Cosey and my Aunt Sandy Therrien. Each one taking turns rubbing my back or walking up and down the halls with me. Each one giving me the strength I needed to keep moving in the hopes that walking would hurry things up. I remember my water breaking at midnight which brings us into August 11,1998 and everyone getting excited that Jonathon was FINALLY going to make his entrance. The joke was on us........he wasnt born until 11:55 am August 11,1998. 16 years later I look at the amazing young man he has become and I think to myself, well not too shabby Nic, not too shabby!! I may not have been a perfect parent but in my eyes I have raised some damn near perfect children. I wouldnt trade you for the world Jonathon Everett!! I love you more today than I did 16 years ago but not as much as I will love you tomorrow and the days to follow!! I know its early but Happy Birthday Beebs!! I love you and I hope you enjoy your day!!!!
