17 Years ago I said goodbye to an amazing young man. His name was Harley. We watched dumb movies together , laughed, cried, threw candy at each other while at work in separate stores in the mall. Harley was sad, some where inside he was broken. He never told me. I never asked. I didnt know the signs. I was just a kid struggling myself. Every day of my life since then I blamed my self for not being a good friend. For not seeing his gifts were a good bye. For not saying Harley I love you.... I wear a necklace everyday that reminds me of the friend I should have been in hopes I never fail again. This month is suicide prevention month. I hope everyone reads this page and shares.
