17-time singles Grand Slam champion Roger Federer insists that his best friend and fellow Davis Cup teammate World No. 3 Stanislas Wawrinka motivated to play best tennis and hopes to continue similar form in clay court season. 32-year-old Roger Federer insists that Stan Wawrinka has been improving a lot from beginning of the season and he is having ability to challenge best players on the tour. He added Wawrinka needs to play consistent tennis to stay top in ATP Rankings and he had trained hard along with his close friend during Davis Cup quarter finals in Geneva. Federer has lead his team into Davis Cup semi finals, where he had showed amazing performance to beat Kazakhstan in quarter finals last week in Geneva. Roger Federer will return back to training on clay court, where he was schedule to play his first clay court tournament here in Mutua Madrid Masters in Madrid next month. It could be a big task for Swiss legend to face his rivals’ king of clay Rafael Nadal and World No. 2 Novak Djokovic. Federer has begin 2014 season with aggressive mode and played outstanding tennis to reach fourth place in the latest ATP Rankings. Currently, Federer has come back to home to spend some time along with his family, before heading to play Mutua Madrid masters.
