170kg x 3 @ 87.8kg Just because you are in a calorie deficit doesnt mean you shouldnt still be striving to maintain the strength gains you have developed during your off-season. I am still looking to maintain strength by doing heavy compound lifts with low reps and heavy weight whilst incorporating volume later in my session. However I didnt factor in 19 year old @luke.m.ashton absolutely dwarfing me in the process of spotting me during my set. 8 weeks out from the INBA State Titles Luke is looking absolutely phenomenal and hes humble as well.
