$179 I was taking with my friend today n he was new in my life. After casual convos, I asked him abt his gf..He smiled and replied, I have a girl in my life bt..... He became upset. I comforted him and asked whats the matter?? He said, I love a girl and we are in a relationship since 8 years but we can never be together..when we started falling for each other, we knew we can never be together..we tried not to feel for each other but I guess it was beyound our control. We accepted the fact that some people are never meant to be together..we decided to stay together till time permits us.. I was almost in tears after listening to all this and asked him, why they cant be together?? He faked a smile and replied- family problem I m sarna and she is christian.. So u can understand... I m still happy that she came into my life.. I never curse my life as it was my fault..I knw I live in a surrounding where falling in love with someone who belongs to different religion Is not allowed still I fell for her.. I was felling so sorry for him..I wonder how he could hide his pain behind his smile.. I wonder why our family could never understand our emtions.. My frnd was ready to break his 8 yr old relation only for the shake of his parents but his parents cant give up their ego for the happiness of their son.. Is it so difficult for our parents to care abt the children and not society!!! Yes, they have the right to guide us..If our choice have some flaws then they have the right to tell us abt it.. But if the person chosen by us is perfect for us, they why cant they accept this fact!! Our parents are so close to us still they couldnt feel our pain.. They are affected by comments passed by the society but ignore the tears of their own children.. I have heard many couple saying that they will get married only when their parents will agree.. if children can respect the feelings of their parents why cant parents do the same!!! Hope the thinking of parents will get changed in the comming years.. #manjul
