18 USC:2384 - Seditious Conspiracy Current thru Pub L. 113-36. "If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both." I believe that there are members of Congress who count on the Citizens of the Nation which they are betraying by at the very least not serving as representative elected officials, count on the People to be too jaded, to non-engaged, to fatalistic, to call them on their crimes. The issue of the current "shut down" and pending default of the United States of America is threatening to the security of our nation and the welfare of its peoples, as well as other "friends" across the world. It is an unreasonable act of the application of power, granted to members of Congress, with a mandate to serve its electorate. It is a violation of faith, of trust, of the very essence of our free nation. When our representatives fail so dismally to represent and so egregiously act contrary to the spirit and intent of the Constitution it is time for all citizens to act to preserve the peace and mandate of our Nation.
