18 days SEIZURE FREEEE and 14 days until MOVING DAY. We are selling our home and moving into a home RIGHT NEXT to Mansfield Methodist Hospital. This will allow us to get sweet Bella to the hospital in as little as ONE minute if need be - right now we are waiting 15-20 minutes for EMS to get here and too long of a drive for us to take her in case she stops breathing AND EMS does not carry the IV rescue medicine she needs. With Dravet and her seizures there is not a lot of things we can control, really NONE. BUT now I can control the amount of time before she gets to the hospital and gets the RIGHT IV rescue meds! Our doctors said the longer she seizes the harder it is for them to get it stopped. Please say a little prayer for our family as we make this transition. Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers!
