18 different guitars in a blind shoot out...think you can tell which guitar is which? If you can, youve got a better ear than me. This, along with other acquired knowledge, has lead me to the conclusion that 95 % of your tone comes from your fingers and 5 % from your gear. I suggest you pick a guitar that fits your hand and inspires you...and spend more time in the wood shed than at the store searching for tone. Its funny how our perception of tone can be influenced by looks and preconceptions isnt it?
