180/180....Finito...Done da da....No more students, no more books, no more parents dirty looks...its the most wonderful time of the year..... Teachers....Hope your year was Common Coregasmic...and you taught Rigor with Attitude...one year closer to STRS and a 78 day weekend...enjoy it...you earned it.... Students...I hope you listened to the lessons between the math....Banish the Dragon...and you Banish the Hero....Get Yours...because its sweeter that way.... Note to Self/Verbal Selfie for future recollection....2013/2014...year of transition ....Ive always prided myself in running a disciplined ship...my mutant power was the ability to stop defiance with a mere stare and perhaps a sarcastic really?...always cultivated that cool older brother vibe that had street/playground cred...as a recovering Jackassholic, I never dared talk back to teachers I respected...but this homeroom tested me or perhaps its father time...Im more R and B than hip hop now....and I do check a new demographic box...I did became the old guy with a ponytail at the club in a heartbeat too....or maybe these guys were just big JACK-Holes...(not all...but more than usual)...none the matter...I gotta raise my game....or Ill never make it to my pension....hopefully when I read this next year ill call it an outlier....
