181 series mini 14. I made the barrel stabilizer out of half inch steel round stock. At 100 to 150 yards accuracy is not an issue. Any farther than that in my geographical location I would not be able to clearly identify my target or whats behind it so I would not take the shot. Just practice shooting your mini, keeping in mind what you are intending on using it for, how far you can safely shoot while knowing what is behind your target. Add tacticool elements that make it your own as long as they are not detrimental to its function. You are the proud owner of an American made Rifle modeled after the rifle that helped defend our freedom. A Japanese General said the reason Japan did not invade the U.S. mainland was due to the fact that behind every tree stands an American with a rifle. I enjoy shooting my mini. I hit what I aim at. I like American made arms. I encourage family and friends to enjoy marksmenship sports. I truly believe that the real homeland security still depends on an American behind every tree with a rifle. If we as Americans can keep that Idea a fact we will be safe and prepared to protect our family. ISIS, I think not. If you take the NRA membership number,just as an example, Americans can and will raise the largest army in the world overnight.
