1892. London, England. Hes back, and the Queen (Penelope Wilton) has declared no one must ever know. The clean-up crew shes assigned to the case, Constable Paddy Considine and Detective Inspector Eddie Marsan, are none too pleased with the cover-up of Jack the Rippers (Simon Pegg) return, but when theyre caught in one of their late-night cleaning sessions by intrepid reporter Martin Freeman, they have no choice but to go public with the information. This leads to, yes, panic in the streets of London, as madam Rosamund Pike begins a movement to arm every lady of the night against possible assailants -- and local gangsters Nick Frost and Jim Broadbent are more than happy to provide.
