18th October. We took an underground train ride to North Greenwich this morning to take a ride on The Emirates Air Line which is the UKs first urban cable car that runs from North Greenwich to the Royal Docks. The cable car runs 90 metres above the Thames. It was a shame that we had overcast weather but one could still see a fair distance but pictures would have been much brighter had the sun been out a bit more. From the cable car you can see places like St Pauls Cathedral, the Thames Barrier, the Olympic Park and many others.
