18th September 2013 PRESS STATEMENT: ON PORT ELIZABETH ATTACKS OF AFRICANS FORM SOMALI. As the PAC Johannesburg Region, we strongly condemn as barbaric attacks on Africans of Somali origin and as criminal looting of the shops at Port Elizabeth in Azania. These evil deeds vindicate our calls for a borderless and united African continent under a single central government. These barbaric attacks of Africans from Somali confirm words made by the first President of Ghana in 1961 who said that “If we do not formulate plans for unity and take active steps to form political union, we will soon be fighting and warring among ourselves with the imperialist and colonialists standing behind the screen and pulling vicious wires to make us cut each other’s throats for the sake of their diabolical purposes in Africa”. PEACE AMONG THE AFRICANS, WAR AGAINST CAPITALISM AND WHITE SUPREMACY! We therefore call upon all African people to be united irrespective of one’s place of birth. We also call upon Pan Africanist activists involved in the Africa Without Borders Campaign activists, advocates, progressive academics and NGOs to intervene in the crisis in the Port Elizabeth. We must consistently and throughout advocate for unity amongst African people and make fellow Africans to realize that our poverty, unemployment and suffering are the consequences of neo-colonialism and capitalism. As PAC we encourage the unemployed and poor and frustrated masses of our people to channel their anger and violence to change state which continue to defend capitalist monopoly.
