19/10/13 Thanks to Cold Rock for donating Cold Rock player of the week ice-creams. Tball United Levelits Cold Rock player of the week went to Mikayla Sandwell, well done Mikayla! Courtney and Kim I hear you are doing a awesome job with these little ones and they are having heaps of fun out there on a Saturday. Keep up the great work guys. Under 11s United Carinbundi Crushers Cold Rock player of the week went to Issac Barden, great work Issac! Under 11s United Carinbundi Crackers Cold Rock player of the week went to Connor Gray, great work Connor! U14s United Carinbundi team had a very close game against the Waves Torpedoes last week so we were expecting another close game. Brothers got off to a great start scoring 5 runs in the first innings, with some great hitting from Braeden Swanson and Ella Cedergreen and aggressive base running by the team. A change of pitcher by Waves saw Riley O’Neall put a stop to the big hits with several strike outs in the second dig. Waves fought back to make the score 5 all at the bottom of the third innings. Two big hits to RF by Cale Prossliner and Brodie Lait saw United take the lead again. Some great team work by the United battery, Braeden Swanson and Brodie Lait put a stop to the Waves hitters and the final score was Brothers 10 , Waves Jetskis 5. A very entertaining game for the many spectators watching the game. U16s United Zacs played a great game on the weekend with the score line going to 24-6 but then reverting back to 12-4. Great work! Bgrade United Zacs Thanks to Ann for doing a great job scoring for the team, Tracey as Coach trying to organise players through the week, Kristy helping out as coach through the game. Hopefully this week will see as many of the players at training to enable them to be competitive in the division.
