1950s High Tech. Dad was my pastor until I was thirteen and the Full Gospel Church in Altoona was cutting edge. There was a neon Cross on the bell tower and a Hammond organ on the platform we even had a mimeograph to print bulletins. That place rocked with hymns like, “Joy Unspeakable and Drinking at the Springs of Living Water.” Neon has been replaced with LED and digital and the Hammond with Korg and Yamaha keyboards.
