1954 Fiat Turbina The show-stopping Fiat Turbina turns sixty this year. The amazing concept car was presented in 1954, and showcased in Turin’s Automobile Museum in April of the same year. The project to design the first car propelled by a gas turbine in Europe had begun no less than six years earlier, in 1948. The incredible, aerodynamic vehicle weighs a tonne, and with a power of 300 hp could reach a top speed of 250 km/h.
