1964 PLYMOUTH VALIANT – whether you talk about desirability, or speed in both straight-line or road course, the Valiant may be the last car that comes to mind. But the fun side of hot-rodding is always its unpredictability and SEMA will never disappoint a big non-mainstream car fan like myself. Look under its hood and the slant-6 that normally sits there is now replaced by a 440ci V8 engine with INDY aluminum heads mated to a Tremec T-56 6-speed Hurst shifter manual transmission. This Valiant sits on Ridetech and Hotchkis suspensions so it could handle any given road course or autocross for that matter. The interior is of course race ready and the blue and white paint scheme is so cool picture doesn’t give justice to its actual look in person. To complete the performance package (and stance), this car rides on 17 American Racing Wheels wrapped in Nitto tires. Now is that cool or what?
