1970’s Jack Russell “SUPER” COCA COLA YO-YO VENEZUELA $ Here - TopicsExpress

1970’s Jack Russell “SUPER” COCA COLA YO-YO VENEZUELA $ Here is a very nice 1970’s plastic Coca Cola advertising yo-yo produced by the Jack Russell Company. It’s a standard-sized return top with a slimline shape (Don Duncan Jr. called it an “Eagle Mold”) and WOOD axle. The axle is tightly attached to the rest of the yo-yo. This one is red with BLACK rims; which, I think, adds a lot to the look of it. The printing on this particular yo-yo is in Spanish. Inside the rectangle it reads: “Goce Coca-Cola” and “Marca Reg.”. The printing around the rectangle reads: “Legitimo Yo-Yo Russell - Modelo Super - Hecho en Venezuela”. It has one sprue (casting) mark on each rim. The yo-yo is in excellent, never-played-with condition. In a picture you may notice a couple of white spots over the word “Hecho”. These are not scrapes. It’s residue from an inventory sticker that was on the yo-yo. I didn’t notice the residue when I was taking the pictures. I’ll remove it.
