1985 - WAS A VERY SPECIAL YEAR FOR ME- at that time I was recently divorced. I met a lady who was to become my friend she worked in Berlin one day over having a few glasses the chilled stuff - she asked a question -if you could have any man you wanted what would you choose? - I thought a while and answered Someone who makes every day feel like Christmas Eve through her conspiring I met a man on the 5th May 1985 who travelled from Berlin to meet with me at the NEC railway station - one week later he asked me to MARRY HIM!! At that time I said no but maybe we could just try living together NO he said If your good enough for me to live with then youre good enough for me to marry! I knew this was one of those rare occasions when you know it was just meant to be with the approval of my parents and more importantly my children, oh! and just for good measure a few nuns who I happened to be working with so very Sound of Music!! 6 weeks later we got married!! I can still hear some folks now :- Of course it will never work - Hes only after One thing! TO those sceptics I say today is our 29th Wedding Anniversary and Guess what its still as good today is it was way back then!!
