19TH MARCH 2014 TAKE YOUR PLACE OF RESPONSIBILITY; GOD WILL NOT DO FOR YOU WHAT HE HAS ASKED YOU TO DO There are so many of God’s children who suffer in vain; because of their ignorance. These are Christians who have left their responsibilities in their lack of knowledge: thinking that it rather God’s responsibility to do for them what they are supposed to do. For example, some Christians make prayers such as “Father, come and cast this devil out In Jesus Name or Father come and heal this sick person in Jesus Name”; whereas there Bible says “And as ye go… Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” Matt. 10:7-8 In the Scripture above, it is clear that it is our duty as THE BODY OF CHRIST to heal the sick and cast out devils; it is not God’s duty. If we don’t heal people, they will not be healed, if we don’t command devils to come out of people, they will never come. It is your responsibility to keep satan and his demons out of your own life; not God’s. You are to “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7 And “Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephs. 6:11 God wouldn’t resist the devil for you; He wouldn’t put on the whole armour for you. God is not supposed to do what He has told us to do. It is our responsibility to cast out devils and heal the sick in Jesus Name. If we don’t do these, they will not be done by God. We cannot pray that God should come and save people; it is our responsibility to do that in His name. Even, for there to more soul winners, Jesus said; “The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.” Luke 10:2 This means that for more people to be involved in the harvest, it is our responsibility to pray before God can act. Take your place as king-priest and make intercessions; you will see changes. There is another group of Christians who make prayers like “Father, let your Spirit come and fill me or dwell in me” This kind of prayer cannot be answered for the Christian, because it has already been answered. The Holy Spirit already dwells or lives in us. “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” 1 Cor. 3:16 It is now your responsibility to “stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.” 2Tim. 1:6. So, “neglect not the gift that is in thee…”. 1Tim. 4:14…
