19th ESPA Congress 20-23 May #ESPAVejle2014 A lot to be excited about: Sharing, vikings and international relations ‘It’s all about sharing, isn’t it? Sharing what you what like and care about, what you find useful, what you are inspired about with others. What you are passionate about. And connecting with people to find out what they are interested in, what makes them happy, what they need in order to be the best versions of themselves’ says Karen Vognsen, from the Vejle-based organising committee. ‘At the congress, we have a great number of people coming together from all over Europe, sharing their passions with all of us and inspiring us on both a professional and a private level.’ This year, we have a few speakers that come from outside the spa and hotel business, sharing with us their outside perspectives so we can become even better at what we already are good at. I believe Mr. Henrik Meng and his Licence to THRILL give a boost to anyone working in the spa, hotel and hospitality business. Mr. Meng is most likely going to be straight forward, energetic and humorous, giving us food for thought and practical examples of how we can make a difference and create an effect of synergy by strengthening the relations with our guests, knowing more about what drives them and in return being able to match the spa product and treatment with their needs. And the workshop on Better Customer and Relations Brand Reputation hosted by Mr. João Pinto Barbosa and Ms. Jurgita Kazlauskiene will follow up on this, when Dorte Møller Madsen CEO of Stormvind shares the strategies to continue this relation-based service with your guests online. Of the other program highlights? Well, as you might guess, I look forward to The Evening in Valhalla and to be a Viking for just a few hours!
