1Thessalonians 2:8 So being affectionately desirous of you, we - TopicsExpress

1Thessalonians 2:8 So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us. The length and breadth of the nation is deluged with bill boards, posters and handbills. Undoubtedly, majority of these advertise Christian programmes. In the not too distant past, almost every poster carried the caption CRUSADE! CRUSADE! CRUSADE! Instantly, you knew that a fiery evangelist was in town and the soul winning business would flourish for that short eon. The story is changing now. It is very amusing to see the array of programmes advertised these days. Dominant among them of late is IMPARTATION! IMPARTATION! IMPARTATION! Honestly, who wouldn’t want an impartation that would instantly turn around his/her predicaments for good? The promise of an impartation to get you an anointing, marriage, wealth and success is powerful enough to lure almost every soul. In that regard, many “impartees” choose to be naïve to question the credibility of the “impartor”. I have observed over the last few years however that many have rather been left in ‘sorry’ conditions after the so called impartation services. What caused it then? The scripture above teaches that impartation is not only a spiritual transfer but of the soul too. For instance, if an anointed thief lays hands on you, the proclivity for you to become a thief is high. Impartation is a spiritual protocol ordained by God and must be kept sacrosanct. So the next time you attend an impartation service, do a diligent search of the soul of the “impartor”. Shalom!
