1st All Couple 50K Ultra Marathon The First in the World Rules and Regulations 1. Couple should be male and female be it married, sweethearts, engaged or MU’s (Mutual Understanding). Proof of partnership is unnecessary but the organizer has the right to exclude registrant whose partnership is in doubt. Those who are registered and later found out that have fictitious relationship for the sake of registering are not allowed to participate the event and the registration fee is not refundable. 2. There are three (3) designated “kissing stations” and as a proof that they are really couples, they must kiss each other for at least 5 seconds. A. starting line > will be done 1 minute before the gun fires. B. Km 25. C. Finish Line 3. Couple must arrive at KM 25 simultaneously and at the FINISH LINE holding hands. Recorder staff will record your finished time after the last kiss. 4. A designated photographer will take picture and act as witness if the kissing rules are complied. Failure to comply is considered DNF (Did Not Follow) and subject to DNF (Did Not Finished). The designated crew who assist the photographer will communicate with the organizer if the couples will violent the rule and to be consider DQ (Disqualified). 5. Couples are encouraged to wear same singlet color and will be issued same race bib numbers. Race bibs must be worn at all times during the race and must be worn on the front of the body, unmodified, unfolded, and visible at all times during the race. It should not be worn on the head or hat. 6. Start of the race will be at 1AM on July 13, 2014 (SUNDAY). All participants are required to check in one hour before the gun start. Cut-off time is 15hrs or at 4PM on July 13, 2014 (SUNDAY). 7. Headlamps, blinkers, & a cellphone are REQUIRED and must be presented upon check-in. 8. Couples must run not more than 5 meters distance from each other. You will be given a verbal warning and marshal/official will sign on both race bibs of the couple for confirmation, 3 warnings will be an automatic DQ. 9. In case of DNF, couples are required to call/text the race directors and specify their location and the reason of DNF. Once DNF, and the couple decided to run again, it is not part of the event anymore. 10. Bring your own hydration containers. The organizer will not provide glasses or cups, EXCEPT AT THE FINISH LINE. Your container will be refilled at the support station. Strict implementation of LNT (Leave No Trash) or No Plastic Cup Event must be observed. Change will start from us. Anyone of the couple who will be caught disposing his/her garbage outside of proper disposing area will be both disqualified right away and no appeal is to be considered. MINI-AMAZING RACE CHALLENGE 11. AT THE MOVINPICK WHARF, COUPLES ARE REQUIRE TO GET THEIR TICKET AND THE TERMINAL FEE.. THESE TICKETS WILL BE SUBMITTED TO AN AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL PROVIDED BY ORGANIZER AND A SPECIAL STICKER WILL BE STICK ON THE TICKETS. THESE TICKETS WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL AT THE TURNING POINT OF BRGY SAN VICENTE, OLANGO ISLAND. UPON RETURNING BACK TO LAPU-LAPU CITY, PRESENT YOUR TICKETS TO THE AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL AND A NEW STICKER WILL BE ATTACHED TO YOUR TICKETS. 12. ONLY PUBLIC PASSENGER PUMPBOAT IS ALLOWED. A VIOLATION OF SUCH RULE REPRESENTS A REDUCTION OF 1 HR FROM THE TOTAL HOURS OF YOUR RUN. 13. Token for the couple will be given at the finish line. 14. In case of any protest, it must be submitted an hour after the official cut-off time and must be accompanied with proof of evidence (picture or video). 15. For safety reason, in the event of bad weather, organizers have the right to change the route. Force majeure like typhoon, earthquake which in anyway impossible to hold or continue the event, the registration fees are not refundable. 16. Violation in any of the above means disqualification from the race. Organizer’s decisions are final.
