1st SEPTEMBER – SUNDAY – Cotswolds to London. Today we are off to the quaint village of Burford. More Cotswolds stonework, thatched and slate roofs, geraniums in pots and Virginia creepers up the walls; they all look like postcards. We went in search of the white horse; we found it on the side of the hill (eventually). Getting the perfect photo however proved a little harder but it was lovely to get some fresh country air. Back to London but Tim (TomTom) decided it would be fun to go straight through central London; welcome to gridlock which took an hour to get through. Home again and feet up after a quick takeaway! Night. xx
