2- العين (النظرة): أ- النظرة لا تتم إلا برؤية الناظر للشيء أو الشخص المنظور. ب- النظرة تؤثر على المنظور تأثيراً سيئاً وتسبب له أضراراً. ج- هي شعور نفسي يتمنى فيها الناظر زوال النعمة من المنظور لاستكثارها عليه. د- النظرة حالة توجد عند البعض ولا توجد عند الآخرين وعدد الذين توجد عندهم قلة. ه- النظرة حالة شبه حيوية يصعب مقاومتها بالإرادة ولكن لها أسلوب آخر في طريقة التقليل من أثرها. و- تتفاوت قدرة الأشخاص في إحداث النظرة، والشديد منهم شديد مع جميع المنظورين، والضعيف ضعيف مع الكل. قد نلاحظ في أحيان كثيرة أن العين التي تصيب إنما تصدر عن حاسد يتمنى زوال نعمة المحسود، وإن كان ذلك التوافق ليس مطلقاً، فقد يتحقق في بعض الأحيان وقد لا يتحقق في أحيان أخرى، فالكثير منا يعرف أن الإنسان قد يصيب بالعين ماله وولده وأعز الناس عنده، بل قد يصيب بها نفسه، فبمجرد انفعال العائن بالنعمة لدى غيره واستكثارها نفذ أثرها في نفسه وكان من ذوي القدرة على العين عان ولو كانت النعمة ملكه لكن الحسد لا يكون مطلقاً إلا لنعمة في يد الغير مصحوب بالحقد والكراهية لهذا الغير، ونخلص من ذلك إلى أن الحسد شر لأنه خلق سيء، لكن شره يتمثل في تحريك نوازع الحقد عند الحاسد الذي قد يتحول إلى عدو للمحسود يسعى في أذيته لكن الحسد ذاته لا ضرر منه ينتقل إلى المحسود فيصيبه كما تصيب العين؛ لكن للعين قوة مؤثرة تنبع من العائن وتصيب المعين فتسبب له أضراراً متفاوتة(53) 2 - Al Ain ( outlook ) : A - perception is not only a vision of the beholder thing or person perspective.
