2:00 - Penny wakes up crying, which wakes Asher up. I take Penny upstairs with me and Asher seems to go back to sleep. 2:45 - Nesi comes upstairs (how???) announcing she wants to snuggle. I walk both girls back downstairs and order them to snuggle with each other. Now Rami is wide awake (and angry that I unscrewed the lightbulb in his room.) he and Asher are having a full-volume conversation about...Skylanders? 2:50 - I send Asher upstairs to sleep with David. He apologizes profusely. I tell him I just. Want. Him. To. Sleep. And I love him. 3:15 - Im sleeping in Ramis bed since now hes all alone and scared. The girls are playing with their play kitchen, from what I can tell from the sounds in there. Lights are off. This is just a vent session. Please dont tell me to explain the importance of sleep to my kids (oh, I have,) to give them a clock that turns colors when its okay to wake up (LOLOL yeah that was an expensive failure of an effort,) or to give them activities to help them get to sleep quietly (these kids dont do anything quietly.) I even gave all four melatonin. Im at my wits end, and starting to triage. Does anyone want to adopt Asher so he can sleep enough at night to stay awake at school?
