Groff, Jr., The Ned, Main Gallery, 314 E. Main St., Jackson, TN, 38301. As a painter, I am a contemporary realist with no set style in my work. I find this liberating. I do lean toward some techniques and applications, but for the most part, I am freestyle and drift about as a student of discovery. While my primary medium is acrylic, I also dabble in oil, mixed and dry mediums. This exhibit, Twenty Two Visitations, presents a palette of locales that I have visited over the years, as well as some places that are purely imagined.
