2/3/14 Mondays Forecast: Well Im assuming most yall have off from work and school (or you should), and Id hope the roads will be cleared for the plows. Showers switching to snow before sunrise for PHL and areas N&W, a switch to snow for NJ (except southern NJ, theyll switch over a bit later in the day) areas will occur later in the morning. Conditions expected to deteriorate quickly today, as moderate to heavy snowfall will be seen for central NJ, PHL and areas N&W from mid-morning through to midday. Visibility could drop to below 1/2 mile at times and snowfall rates could be as high as 2/hr. This will be the heavy/wet snow, (the annoying kind to shovel, but great kind for snowball making). This wet/heavy snow will take some time to stick to the roads, especially after this warm weekend, but eventually it will occur. Conditions should begin to improve by mid-afternoon and the snow should be done N&W of the city by 3 or so, around 4pm in and around the city, and closer to 5pm for areas in NJ.
