2 #53 Finally, after it felt like we waited forever Dr Smith called us in his office. He checked Olus weight and everything. Dr Smith: the boy is growing and is healthy :) . Nkosi: whats good to hear :) :) , isnt it mama. I stared at him. I wasnt really in the mood for him. All i thought about was work. I so wish Zack wont be there. Luckily for me its Friday, i look forward to going out with my girls. Me: yeah.. #fakedASmile. Can we now leave? Im late for work. Nkosi: oh :/ . Dr Smith: yes, im done. Next appointment is in August. Nkosi: Ill make a reminder on my phone, thanks. I just smiled. I dressed Olu quick, said our goodbye to Dr Smith and left. We walked to the parking lott, Nkosi held his son. I so wanted to ask uba uphi uLumka but i didnt want to sound like a nagging girlfriend because i wasnt. We got to my car, i unlocked it. Nkosi: can i got with him? I looked at him, we made eye contact for the first time since we broke up. Should i trust him with my baby? He wouldnt hurt him mos? Sparks were like electric fields and i felt so attracted to Nkosi, more than ever. We go close to each other voluntarily. I closed my eyes as our nose touched and we breathed the same air. Everything that lead me to hate him, starting with my miscarriage, Zama, Amanda, Precious, the kidnapping and Lumka came like a strong punch in my heart. I opened my eyes as i released what wa happening. Nha i cant kiss him, i cant go back. I cant let him walk all over me again. I jumped backwards. Me: Im late. He looked at me shockedly, he knew whatever he had to do to win me over wasnt going to be easy. I decided not to make any eye contact with him again. Me: ungahamba nawe but cela umgoduse kwa early. Nkosi: hell be with me for just 3 hours. Me:good. I handed him Olus bag. I took my child, kissed him and handed him to Nkosi. Nkosi: bye bye ke. He turned around and started walking away. NKOSI! i called out. He turned around, his faced lite up. Nkosi: yes, mama. Me: ungalinge use umntanam kwamankazana akho, Ill kill you. Nkosi: ohk. He turned around and started walking again. I could see he was disappointed at what i just said but whats a girl got to do? Besides ebecinga ndizothini? I love you? Mxm. I got inside the car and drove straight to work. Thank God there was no Sign of Zack today. Around 2, Mrs Botha went home and i already told her i was going home early too. So i cleared up and left tomorrows work on my desk. I took off the platform boot, wore sleepers and drove off to Langa. I wasnt feeling good, isisu Sam besiwrongo and i felt light headed. I got to the salon, parked and got off. I took out R400 and went inside. I went for a long hair extension, ibivuleke on the side. My phone has been ringing for some time, it was Zack so i ignored. I had to relaxe my hair first since its an afro. I was done around 4, so i paid and got up. I felt so dizzy, i fell back to the chair. Noba nditheni na? I sat down for a while then i got up slowly and walked to the car. I got in and sat on the drivers side. I layed my heads on the steering wheel as i got sweaty and weak. Whats wrong with me na? My phone rang again so i reached out for it. It was Zack still, i answered it. Me: Elo. #lowVoice. Zack: hey.... Are you ohk? Me: im fine. What do you want? Zack: no your not ohk. Where are you? Me: im fine! Zack: VUYO! I wont argue with you. Where are you? I told him the address, it wasnt complicated wethu. I put my head in the steering wheel and closed my eyes. I heard a knock on my drivers window, i raised my head and Zack was standing there, looking all worried. My eyes were barely open, nentloko ibuhlungu on its own. I unlocked the door, he opened it and made me face him. He put his hand on my forehead. Zack: your hot. Me: geez i know im hot :p . I laughed sickly. Zack didnt laugh at all. Zack: im serious! Let me take you to your doctor. Me: my car? Zack: call someone to come take it. I reached for my phone and called Sibu. He came quickly ehamba noKg. He drove my car and Kg drove his. He didnt even chat caba zandimbi nyani. Zack drove me to gatesville and Dr Smith attended me quickly. He did tests on me and so on. Zack was by my side oko shame. Me: Doc, whats wrong with me? Dr Smith: you suffer from exhaustion and fever. You just need to rest and eat right. Let me go get your meds. Me: thank you . Yhuu i was relieved. Dr Smith walked out. Zack: thats good to hear then :) . Me: and you though i was dying. Zack: i did not. Me: you did too. We both laughed at how silly we sounded. I loved the vibe, it was very cheerful and love was in the air uyandiva? We had that stare in the eye and smile moment. It felt as if time froze and we just looked at each other. He rubbed my forehead, pushing back my hair. The door swang open and Nkosi came in. Zack and i back away from each other. Geez! The nigga just killed my vibe -_- .
