2 #66 The dinner went really well, than i anticipated. We all chatted loudly , laughing and we were happy. The awkward tension between Nkosi and Thobile seemed to have faded. I even forgot my problems for once. It was good seeing Nkosi smile. Yeah he has hurted me but i didnt wish him bad stuff. I knew God has his plans for Nkosi and myself. Mandisa took the plates and came with desert. Strawberrys dipped in chocolate and a slice of vanilla cake. Thobile: mhmm this looks good. Me: im trying to lose weight, andiyazi xa nditya ezinto :/ :( . Mandisa: haisuka uright ngoku unje. Nkosi: thats what i told her mama. Mandisa: awunotsho noba unomntana. You have a great body. Thobile: uright Makoti, keep in shape and wait for the right man. Me: :o :o . Nkosi: haibo Tata :/ :(. I choked on the cake. I too the glass of water infront of me and gulped it down. Heeee uThobile kodwa :v :v . Mandisa: babe, your a bad influence :/ . Thobile: njani babe? Imagine if Nicky going through what Vuyo is going through. Youd advice her to move on. Andizobhanxa umntana keSindile kodwa our son wronged him. Mandisa: but kuyanyanyezelwa emtshatweni. Thobile: Vuyo is still young, remember. She still needs to play ngoba kwa uNkosi lo usadlala. Nkosi: i think Vuyo was right about us fixing our own matters. Thobile: i agree nam. Mandisa: nam. #pouts. We all laughed at how silly the argument was. My phone rang so i got up, excused myself , gave Nkosi his son and went to take my phone. It was Sindile. I wasnt in the mood for his drama. For a moment i forgot about this divorce situation. I didnt want to answer it but i did. Let me hear his side of the story. What were really his plans ngomama and why now. Me: Tata. Dad: hey, were are you? I thought you wanted us to meet. Me: i did but i got caught up in something. He kept quiet for a moment. Dad: your mom called. Me: mhmm you guys are best friends now? Great. Dad: baby, let me come to where you are. Ill explain everything you want to know. Me: im at Nkosis. Dad: ohk, Ill be there in 15 minutes. Me: cool. I hang up and went back to the table. I felt so drained. hear comes trouble. im so not in the mood for this. Cant my dad just stay with Penny, cant just my life go back to normal? I just felt a headache coming. Me: sorry about that. I wasnt in the mood for the desert anymore. Mandisa: are you ohk? Me: ewe, utata uyeza. Thobile: awuzolala :/ :( ? Ngoku besendilungise ibhedi for Olu to sleep with us. I didnt want to sleep over but my mom was home so i didnt want to bump into her. I really did despise what shes doing. So i decided to sleep over. I didnt want to disappoint Thobile, after them being so great and for him being supportive of me. Im glad i did pack a few things to wear and i was very pleased that i wasnt working tomorrow. Yeap. Mrs Botha gave me a day off aloku, remember. Me: uhm im sleep over ke :) :D. Mandisa: let me go fix the spare room, uzolala espare room right? Thobile: of course babe. Hahaha Thobile though :) . Mandisa got up and disappeared in the passage. Im sure she went to fix my bedroom. Nkosi: your meds #whispering. I almost forgot about those. Andisadikwe zipilisi ze eczosto. Me: thank you. I got up and took my pills. I went back to the table and drank them. Thobile: zezantoni ezo pilisi makoti? Me: exhaustion and fever. Thobile: you need to rest nyani. You got 4 jobs aloku. Being you, a mother, a student and a PA . Nkosi: maybe you should stop working ngoku. I looked at him. Me: haibo i want to work. I have to have cash aloku for Olu. Nkosi: my parents and i send you cash and its enough for you and Olu. Thobile got up , took Olu with him and left us there. Obviously giving us space. Me: i want to work for my own money and contribute kaOlu nam. And i enjoy working. Nkosi: oh oh i see what this is. Me: you do? Nkosi: it has to do with that Zack ndini ne? Me: mxm your crazy ngoku. Duh, it is about him. If i quit i wont get an excuse to bump into Zack like i want to and frequently. Beside that, i loved to work. It made me feel responsible and grown up. I got up clearing the table , i avoided eye contact. Nkosi: you cant even deny it. Me: mxm. I took the dishes to the kitchen, Nkosi followed with the glasses. I went to drink water and faced the window, giving Nkosi my back. Nkosi: you cant even look at me. Me: khondiyeke Nkosikhona, yhuu. I have a headache. Nkosi: so ngokwenza intloko? Me: your words not mine. My phone rang, it was my dad. He told me his was outside so i went outside to his car.
